Please inform staff upon check-in if your visit is related to a workplace injury, or a motor vehicle accident.
If you have/your child has a widespread rash or contagious condition please advise staff at check-in.
Please keep us advised of any change in your/family’s contact information (phone number, address, email).
Violence, threats, or foul language are not tolerated. Persons breaking this policy will be required to leave immediately. Please respect the ill and frail persons in this office by not allowing your children to run in the halls or make excessive noise.
To help our physicians stay on schedule, please book an appointment for each family member, and for each major medical concern. Please do not expect to have more than one person seen, nor to have multiple significant medical problems reviewed, during a single appointment.
Test results are not normally given over the phone. Please book an appointment with your doctor to review results.
All prescription renewals must be done at an appointment. Prescriptions are not refilled by phone or fax.
Confidentiality: Physicians do not share patient information with any other person unless there is consent to do so. Please ensure proper consent is noted on file prior to speaking with the doctor about family members.
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy: If we do not receive adequate notice of cancellation of your appointment, you will be billed $40 ($70 for a longer appointment such as a physical exam, excision, etc.).
Please note that most forms and notes, and some medical procedures, are not covered by the Medical Services Plan of BC, and must be paid for privately. Please enquire with our reception staff.
