Dr. Peter-John Frew (MBChB DA(SA))
General Practice and Inpatient Medical care at Mission Memorial Hospital since 1999. A graduate of the University of Cape Town, with an interest in nutrition and weight management.
Dr. Jeffrey Kornelsen (MD CCFP)
Full service family practice at this location since 1997. Community and office practice, with a focus on Maternity care.
Dr. Parin Patel (MBBS BSc MRCGP CCFP)
Graduate of University of London, UK. Local Department Head - Emergency Medicine at Mission Memorial Hospital since 2014. Family Physician & ER Physician in Mission since 2004.
Dr. Carol Pomeroy (BSc MD)
Graduate of the University of British Columbia. Joined the Medical Group in 1992. Community hospital and office practice. Involvement as well in improving health care locally through the Mission Division of Family Practice.
Dr. Jean-Marc Smith (BSc MD)
Graduate of UBC. In full-time family practice in Mission since 1988. Providing in-patient hospital care and full family practice, as well as Emergency Department care. Personal interests include mountain biking and motor vehicle racing.
Dr. Rahul Manocha (BSc MD)
Graduate of University of Alberta Medical School and University of Calgary Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Manocha is a full scope family physician. He works in many settings including office practice, regular hospital rounds, and assisted living facilities in Mission. He has a special interest in providing palliative care to patients and is certified to provide Medical Assistance in Dying.
Dr. Lawrence Welsh (BSc MBBS MRCGP CCFP)
Graduate of University of London UK. Providing comprehensive Family Medicine at the Medical Group since 2002. Full privileges Mission Hospital including ER and inpatients. Interests: improving the health care system, locally and provincially, via active involvement in Mission Division of Family Practice, the Society of General Practitioners, and the Doctors of BC.
Dr. Gwen Siemens (BSc MD CCFP)
Graduate of University of British Columbia in 1988. She has been working in Mission since 1990 providing full service family medicine including acute inpatient care at Mission Memorial Hospital and longitudinal community care. Joined the Medical Group January 2019.
Dr. James Dueckman (BSc MD CCFP)
Graduate of UBC Medicine in 2017 and UBC Family Medicine Residency Program in 2019. He chooses to work at a family practice in Mission to focus on commitment to longitudinal patient relationships and full service family medicine including inpatient care at Mission Memorial Hospital.
